Job Summary :
The Tier 2 / 3 IT Engineer will provide advanced technical support and expertise for Office 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
This role involves managing and resolving complex IT issues, supporting cloud migrations from on-premises to cloud infrastructures, and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in both Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support, with a focus on cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide advanced technical support for Office 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Manage and resolve complex IT issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams
- Plan and execute cloud migrations from on-premises environments to cloud infrastructures
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, networking, and security
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and maintain cloud-based solutions
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud services and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Train and mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 support staff on advanced troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for cloud environments
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 year in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 role
- Strong expertise in Office 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Experience with cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP / IP, DNS, and VPN
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent (preferred)
