POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Student Records Data Intern will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the data quality and integrity within the College's academic catalog system and Credential Engine.
This role is ideal for students with an interest in data management, information systems, and higher education administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist in the ongoing maintenance and quality assurance of data within the Credential Engine and academic catalog system.
Perform routine data entry tasks and verify the accuracy of existing records.
Identify, report, and rectify any discrepancies or inconsistencies in student records or catalog entries.
Work closely with the student records team to understand and apply institutional policies and accreditation requirements to data maintenance.
Collaborate with academic departments to ensure course and program information is up-to-date and accurately reflected in the systems.
Help implement and document processes for data standardization, cleanup, and validation.
Participate in special projects related to data migration, system upgrades, or process improvements.
Engage in regular training and development sessions to enhance skills related to data management and academic administration.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Information Systems, Data Science, Education Administration, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality data standards.
Basic knowledge of database systems and data management practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new software and technology.
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Previous experience in an administrative or data-focused role is advantageous.

Weekly Work Hour Total : 25-28 hours / week.
Hourly Rate : $20 / hour
