Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting specializing in adult Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with varying start times between 5 : 00 AM and 9 : 00 AM Rotating on-call coverage for one week at a time, including after-hours, Saturdays, and Sundays Department requires multitasking and teamwork for various nuclear medicine procedures Perform procedures such as gastric emptying, HIDA scan, MUGA scan, 3 phase bone scan, whole body bone scan, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation / perfusion, stress testing and isolation precautions Expected to start and maintain peripheral IVs Uses Cerner EMR, Cerner experience required Floating to affiliate hospitals or within the hospital may be required Must be willing to multitask, work as a team player, and adapt to changing unit needs Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays First-time travelers are accepted for this position Local candidates are accepted Up to 5 days of requested time off may be auto-approved Returned travelers must be separated from former employment at the facility for at least 12 months Free parking available on-site Call schedule details should be confirmed with manager Requirements Minimum 2 years recent experience in Nuclear Medicine Active BLS and either CNMT or NMTCB certification required Current and valid Indiana state license required; pending license not accepted Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university required Ability to safely handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials Experience in adult patient population and Nuclear Cardiology required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617841.
