The SeniorLVN will assist with consults and procedures within their scope of practice,including setting up sterile fields and supporting imaging modalities.
Theywill monitor vital signs such as EKG, pulse oximetry and respiratory rate,promptly recognizing abnormalities and communicating findings to the healthcareteam.
Additionally, as the Senior LVN you will assist patients with activity,mobility and coordinate communication between staff members.
The role requiresstrong clinical skills, the ability to interpret EKG readings, and effectiveteamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Overall, the Senior LVN plays a crucialrole in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care withinthe clinic.
Salary : $34.61to $45.66 Hourly
Qualifications
- ActiveCalifornia LVN license with Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawalcertification - required
- BCLS from American Heart Associationor American Red Cross required
- At least 2 years of relevant clinicalLVN experience required
- Phlebotomy Certificate required
- Ability to interpret EKG basicarrhythmias, the components of the EKG waveform including PR interval and STsegment.
- Ability to skillfully administer oral,IM and subcutaneous medications
- Knowledge and ability to set up andassist physician with any procedures within ones scope of practice
- Skill to accurately perform a 12-leadEKG
