Join Our Team as a Lead Maintenance Technician!
Are you a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to fixing things? Do you have a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving?
If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Southwest in Sioux Falls, SD!
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure all repairs and preventive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other hotel equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels through QUORE
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting of 50 lbs, snow removal, mowing and weed trimming
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hospitality environment
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
