Description
Responsibilities / Duties :
1. Modify, build, and maintain degree requirements using XML coding techniques.
2. Collaboration among Student Applications Specialists working within a team.
3. Provide exemplary external and internal communication concerning upcoming and pending changes within the department.
4. Create new documentation and modify current documentation and training material needed for our internal team and users across the University.
5. Attend weekly team meetings and working sessions with Applications Services customers.
6. Provide quality customer service in a timely fashion.
7. Perform other duties concerning Applications Services project support as assigned or requested.
Qualifications :
Student Specialists must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and advanced computer proficiency.
Maintain knowledge of university and department policies and procedures.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Professionalism, diplomacy, and the ability to safeguard and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :
Experience with a modern programming language and software / computer troubleshooting.
