Job Description
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team! The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, month-end close responsibilities, and support to the accounting and finance department.
- Manage the month-end close process and provide support during the annual audit.
- Assist in financial analysis and reporting to support the accounting and finance department.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in inventory accounting, including inventory valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze inventory turnover, and assess inventory obsolescence.
- Work with external tax advisors and auditors during tax filings and audits.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial software, and tools (ex. QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
