Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate Electronic Remittance Advices (ERA) / 835 issues with clearinghouses and payersCoordinate outreach to obtain missing information for payment application and recoupmentsAnalyze denial trends and validate claim supporting documentation to inform processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience in health insurance with claims processing, billing, or reimbursementFamiliarity with 1500 claim forms and DMEPOS servicesKnowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CMS guidelinesInvestigative skills for conducting claims and payment reviews
