Los Gatos Therapy Center is a patient-focused, dynamic, rapidly growing, private psychiatric group specializing in the treatment of ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, and other behavioral issues.
Our group has well-developed administrative support functions and we are in network with all insurance plans as we strive to provide a real continuity of care for our patients.
We have two outpatient locations in Campbell and Sunnyvale.
We provide psychiatric consultations, psychotherapy, and medication management for children, adults, and seniors and we are seeking to meet the growing demand from our community.
RN RESPONSIBILITIES (while limited to non-patient care)
Work in the capacity of an RN providing indirect patient care, with duties as assigned by supervising RN (Director of Advanced Practice) and Medical Director, including :
Telephonic advice nursing (patients in outpatient setting, IOP, PHP, and / or RTC)
Clinical policy writing (e.g. related to referral processes, administration and oversight of LAI, Ketamine, TMS)
Document revisions (e.g. TMS referral form, patient questionnaire, pre-evaluation and TMS Evaluation form
EHR revisions (e.g. Work w / Utilization personnel and EHR personnel to interface the above documents
Utilization management (
Case management
Quality management
Infection control
RN RESPONSIBILITIES (when allowed to provide patient care)
Work in the capacity of an RN providing direct patient care with duties as assigned by the supervising RN (Director of Advanced Practice) and Medical Director, including :
Health appraisal of RTC patients
Follow standing orders for medication administration, hydration, nutrition support, and other medical interventions as needed
Mental health assessment and consultation
Psychiatric and medical screening for pre-evaluation of patients for various programs (e.g. TMS, Ketamine)
NP RESPONSIBILITIES (when allowed to resume NP practice)
- Initial psychiatric evaluations
- Follow-up consultations : evaluation and management of mental health disorders with supporting psychotherapy
- Collaboration within the group and coordination of care with other participants of the patient’s treatment teams
REQUIREMENTS : Active RN license
Active RN license
Completion of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program (PMHNP)
- ANCC Accreditation (PMHNP-BC)
- An individual Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license issued by the United States DEA for Schedule II-V controlled substances

TERMS OF RN EMPLOYMENT :
32 hours / week
$50 / hour or prorated salary (80% of $104k $83k - prorated for length of employment)
Option to transition to NP practice once NP license is reinstated if performance is favorable
