Project description
Luxoft is looking for a React Full Stack Developer who will be working with our Customer - one of the world's largest investment management companies.
Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is collaborating with Luxoft on a full-scale upgrade of their technology.
Responsibilities
- Work in a SCRUM team, closely with the client and business analysts, to quickly understand new requirements and help identify changes to the system.
- Develop and present recommendations based on analysis of the current solution. Assist in code peer reviews, and build and test functional enhancements.
- Identify areas for code refactoring and review / contribute to the development process and procedures to assist in the continual improvement of the development team activities.
- Demonstrate strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Be responsible for full-stack development of Java and React code to meet specifications and designs, using best practices to develop a world-class web services code-base.
- Perform effort estimation and task breakdown - estimating the cost of implementing new changes and identifying risks.

SKILLS
Must have
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming language.
- Broad experience with modern JS frameworks, particularly React; Angular and jQuery are nice to have.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; AWS Aurora / Postgres SQL preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Fargate, S3, EFS, and Lambda.
- Ability to build and deploy CI / CD AWS code pipeline to deploy microservices in AWS.
Nice to have
Exposure to machine learning.
