Position Summary
Exciting opportunity to join CVS Health as Lead Director, Solution Train Engineer / Lead Change Agent / Program Coach. In this role you will support the Medicaid COMET (coordinated Medicaid and Enterprise transformation) team which is a highly visible and crucial program to drive growth and deliver value in the Medicaid segment.
The ideal candidate in this role will facilitate multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) at the large solution level and then is responsible for program execution, escalating impediments, managing risk, and helping drive continuous improvement for all ARTs.
Additionally, the ideal candidate is also responsible for facilitating Large Solution events including PI Planning, driving continuing education Rocket Series, and Inspect & Adapt.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Serves as the COMET servant leader and facilitator for program events and activities for planning, executing, delivery and improvement, such as Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness and PI Planning events and activities
- Mentors and advises Train coaches
- Establish, implement, and operationalizes transformation vision and ongoing change efforts
- Owns the LACE transformation backlog as the Product Owner
- Establishes and maintains best practices within Rally as the primary tool and record of truth
- Collaborate with the appropriate individuals to translate business strategy into technology strategy and ensure that capabilities required by the business are enabled
- Applies advanced Agile, Lean and SAFe principles and skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years' experience
- Up to 10% Travel may be required for PI planning events
- Passion for Lean-Agile principles and practices
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key internal partners
- Experience with SAFe 6 framework and implementation of Agile Release Trains
- Previous, successful experience facilitating Lean-Agile Program Execution in Large Solution and / or Program execution using the SAFe 6 framework
- Demonstrated organizational / follow-up skills
- Exceptional leadership skills to coordinate collaboration across multiple disciplines
- Experience hiring, training and developing support staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in anticipating stakeholder needs and requirements
- Experience in building strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Certified Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC 6)
- Demonstrable mastery in various competencies of Teaching, Mentoring, Transformation, and Facilitation
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate internal and external cross-functional business issues
Education
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Masters Degree is preferred
- Equivalent Combination of education and experience may be considered
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is :
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
