With a competitive pay range of $18.00 - $19.25 per hour and a supportive, collaborative work environment, this opportunity awaits individuals who are ready to inspire and empower others.
We also offer great benefits such as a $300 signing bonus, ongoing training, health benefits for full-time positions, and a 401(k) plan.
WORK SCHEDULE :
Your weekly schedule as a part-time Direct Support Worker at Life Works will consist of the following shifts :
- Monday : 10 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
- Wednesday : 3 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 PM
- Saturday : 10 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM

In this role, your days will be as dynamic as they are rewarding. You'll wake up each day ready to problem-solve, organize, and create opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Your work as a Direct Support Worker revolves around providing one-on-one support, helping with daily living activities, and encouraging participation in social and recreational activities.
Whether it's assisting with personal care and hygiene, planning outings, or fostering a safe and supportive environment, your role is all about building lasting relationships and improving the quality of life for those we serve.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A DIRECT SUPPORT WORKER :
- Experience with persons with disabilities preferred
- Passion for making a difference
- Good communication skills
- Reliable transportation with insurance
- Compassion for those in the LGBTQ+ community
