We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Coordinator, Programming and Content Operations for LG Channels on the North American Platform Content & Services Team!
Position Summary
LG Channels is a Free, Ad Supported streaming service available globally on LG Smart TVs. It is a top app on the LG webOS platform and continues to be a source of free entertainment for millions of viewers that increasingly have cut the cord looking for News, TV Shows, Movies and more.
The Programming and Content Operations Coordinator for LG Channels will coordinate the delivery and scheduling of on-demand assets, execute promotional banner campaigns, and assist in optimization of the LG Channels Home App.
This candidate must be extremely detail-oriented and exhibit a willingness to learn all aspects of the FAST and AVOD content business.
Collaboration and ability to absorb information quickly are essential in this fast-growing team.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in formatting of programming. Update and review metadata, re-size images, and assign break points.
- Maintain database of all video-on-demand metadata and artwork, including LG Originals, movies, series, and specials
- Support curation strategies for VOD content. Analyze content performance data to identify trends and inform programming decisions.
Assist in optimization of On-Demand experience within the LG Channels Home App
- Act as key liaison with content partners on promotional asset creation and approval process. Provide feedback for optimization and submit final versions to ad operations for execution
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Brand Marketing, Social, and PR to best support the LG Channels VOD offering.
- Support new partners in the onboarding process
- Coordinate asset deliveries from content partners and service providers
- Track and log technical and operational issues with LG Channels
- Step in to assist channel scheduling coordinators when required
- Effectively collaborate with other team members and various departments
- Must be available to be in-office full time
Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience in video programming or partner management space at a network, streaming service, or media agency.
- Strong desire for collaboration, creative brainstorms and proactive client engagement.
- Specific knowledge of Connected TV, Streaming, or FAST services is a huge plus
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and content scheduling tools.
- An understanding and hands-on use of analytics tools and services (ex. Conviva, Adobe, Wurl, Amagi, etc.)
- Ability for insightful and outside the box thinking, to create strategic solutions or troubleshoot issues, and later communicate to these updates effectively to senior members of the team
