Job Description Summary Wentworth Institute of Technology has an i mmediate need starting in the fall semester and seeking applicants for the role of Intercultural Counselor .
This licensed, clinical position provides clinical, educational, and outreach services specifically relevant to the needs of a diverse student body, specifically students of color, in addition to the general student population.
Services include clinical intake assessments, triage, ongoing therapy, and crisis intervention . This Intercultural Counselor will report directly to the Associate Dean for Health & Wellness.
In addition, this position partners regularly with the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to provide programs and services that address the needs of a diverse group of students, with a particular lens toward our students of color.
Experience with equity in mental health, cultural concerns, identity development, and mental health diagnosis and treatment is required.

Advertised Minimum Qualifications Licensed clinician with 3-5 post master’s degree experience seeking to work with college aged young adults on an urban campus providing short-term therapy, crisis intervention, safety assessments, outreach, and case management.
Candidate will be responsible for equity-based outreach to ensure the clinical and wellness needs of students of color is a priority.
Advertised Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of CBT, DBT, and exposure therapy. Knowledge and experience providing outreach, education, and support to a diverse group of young adults with a lens of equity and inclusion for students of color.
