Our Blood Institute (OBI) seeks an Associate Medical Director for its Oklahoma City headquarters location. The Associate Medical Director is a licensed physician with shared responsibility for the medical, technical, and clinical leadership and direction of OBI's operations.
As part of the leadership team of the sixth largest independent blood center in the United States, the Associate Medical Director will work with a team of nationally recognized physicians including the Chief Medical Officer and other Medical Directors to direct and supervise key staff and processes to ensure the safety and well-being of all blood donors, the quality of all blood products manufactured, and the provision of premier laboratory and patient services.

Days : Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend and holiday call coverage
Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with rotating call coverage
Qualifications :
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Training in Clinical or AP / CP Pathology, Hematology, or other suitable medical specialty
- Fellowship training in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine preferred
- Prior Experience as a Medical Director or Fellow at a regional blood center or hospital blood bank also desirable
