M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Management Specialist (Staff Level) to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs that enhance employee development, engagement, and

performance. This role plays a critical part in advancing talent strategies that align with business goals and HR priorities, with a focus on performance management, learning initiatives, and career progression.

Reporting to the Talent Management Manager, the Specialist will contribute to the development, management, and execution of enterprise-wide talent solutions that foster a culture of growth, support internal mobility, and drive organizational excellence.

This position is based at M.C. Dean's headquarters in Tysons, Virginia, and is expected to be performed on-site during standard business hours.

Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, rollout, and facilitation of enterprise-wide talent management programs aligned with organizational needs, including career progression, performance evaluations, succession planning, and leadership

Manage vendor relationships and coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual training programs, including provider selection, scheduling, enrollment, and materials preparation to ensure seamless program delivery.

Generate and distribute reports on training completion, participation, and development metrics to support internal reviews and decision-making.

Collaborate on the execution of leadership career progression processes, including facilitating training, tracking submissions and process steps, and maintaining accurate records.

Partner with stakeholders across HR and Marketing & Communications to promote training opportunities, including aligning calendars, drafting intranet announcements, and coordinating messaging to increase employee engagement.

Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent talent initiatives with precision and attention to detail, ensuring timely and high-quality execution in a fast-paced environment.

Support employees in navigating career pathways and accessing development tools and resources, providing guidance on an as-needed basis.

Analyze talent management program data and key talent metrics to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations for future improvement.

Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent management, contributing recommendations to enhance program impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, talent management, organizational development, or a related field required. (Master's preferred).

0+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree

Plus if you have a professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or CPLP / ATD Certification)
