Mail clerk

Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as an Insert Mail Clerk for a financial printing company in Downtown Kansas City, MO .

Pay Rate : $15.34-$16.60 / hr

Schedule : Day and Night Shift Available

• Must be available to work 7 days a week
• Must be available for 12hr shifts during peek season

Mail Clerk Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing hand inserting or re work of company product.
• Duties to include sorting, distributing, wrapping, classifying, weighing and routing mail and determining postal rates.

Special Handler Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the specialized processing of the company's products
• Duties may include inserting or de-inserting envelopes, printing detail sheets, collecting and validating materials, collating and assembling kits, and weighing, metering and sorting envelopes.

Printing / Insert Machine Operators

• Responsible for operating a variety of equipment to support the production and / or distribution of print materials for financial institutions
• Duties to include inserting documents into a hopper, sorting, tagging, and organizing into bins for shipment to the post office

Requirements :

• Attention to detail
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work with basic hand tools to adjust the machines
• Comfort working a stationary, repetitious position.
