GEE Group has partnered with a Fortune 500 company in their search for an experienced and motivated Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Department Management : Plan, direct, and manage departmental activities to achieve continuous improvement objectives, ensuring alignment with company policies and priorities.
- Cultural Transformation : Promote and sustain a culture of continuous improvement through training, education, and influence at all management levels.
Act as a facilitator and champion for process enhancement initiatives.
- Project Leadership : Lead and plan multiple complex and high-profile process improvement projects, providing both strategic and tactical direction.
- Event Coordination : Oversee and guide all continuous improvement events, ensuring their success and sustainability.
- Process Analysis : Study production and office processes, offering recommendations for enhancements.
- Data Management : Oversee the collection and analysis of quality and production data. Collaborate with IT to streamline data collection processes for better analysis.
- Quality Assurance : Work closely with the Quality department to maintain ISO 9001 certification and contribute to internal audits as needed.
- Balanced Work Environment : Divide your time equally between on-floor activities and office responsibilities. Work independently, in small teams, and across various departments.
- Technical Expertise : Utilize tools such as MS Office, Minitab, and MS SQL Server effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to a team of 1 to 3 Continuous Improvement Engineers.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Industrial (and Systems) Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Experience : A minimum of three years in a related role.
- Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, and MS SQL Server.
