Our Fortune 100 Client is currently seeking a remote Accounting Director , local to the State of Maryland. The Accounting Director will have the chance to work remotely from Maryland and will be expected to work during the Eastern time zone's standard business hours.
The Accounting Director will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day accounting and finance activities related to our Medicaid BH contract in Maryland.
Responsibilities :
- This candidate will oversee the day-to-day accounting and finance activities associated with the Maryland Medicaid BH contract.
- This would include overseeing the weekly check write process for provider payments that exceed 40 million dollars.
- In addition the candidate will oversee the reconciliation of the state's bank accounts used to fund provider payments and communicate cash flow needs to the State of Maryland.
- In addition there are corresponding reporting requirements related to service category spend and outstanding provider receivable balances that will be tracked weekly.
- The candidate will set and oversee weekly meetings with the State of Maryland to update the customer on recent trends and provider payment activity.
