Job Type : Full-Time, shift, 40 hours per week, overtime may be required when needed. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the operation.

Shift 1 : Day Shift (8 hours)

Monday to Friday : 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM

Shift 2 : Evening Shift (8 hours)

Monday to Friday : 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM

Shift Schedule : 3-Shift Rotation

Shift 1 : Day Shift (8 hours)

Monday to Friday : 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM

Shift 2 : Evening Shift (8 hours)

Monday to Friday : 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM

Shift 3 : Night Shift (8 hours)

Sunday to Thursday : 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM (next day)

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations, second and third shift.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume production lines in the Fast Moving Consumer Gods (FMCG) industry, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.

This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Production Planning and Scheduling :
  • Collaborating with the Planning team, implement production plans and schedules to meet fully sales demand plans and then provide quick reaction to customer backorders.
  • Manage production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Lead and motivate a diverse production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the production team.
  • Quality Assurance :
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any product defects or issues.
  • Cost Management :
  • Optimize production processes to reduce waste, minimize costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Accurately report costs related to Production in the company ERP
  • Work closely with the finance department to manage the production budget effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance :
  • Oversee the maintenance and reliability of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team for the provisioning and deprovisioning of manufacturing configurations through each shift.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance :
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to production processes.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in FMCG production management with a successful track record of achieving production targets.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMCG production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
  • Proficient in using production management software (NetSuite ERP) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in the pillow, plush and pet bed manufacturing industry a plus.
