Advertising Social Media CoordinatorThe Social Media Coordinator oversees the online social community for Pensacola Christian College, Pensacola Christian Academy, Rejoice Radio, Teen Extreme, and Camp o' the Pines.
The coordinator creates and maintains schedules, posts to social media platforms, and analyzes social data from the various social profiles.
Ultimately, the coordinator's goal is to better understand target audiences and create quality engagement on the social media channels.
During livestreamed events, they also oversee the monitoring of comments. The Social Media Coordinator is to be the familiar with how to reach our audiences on our social media platforms while also ensuring that the social presence aligns with ministry culture, goals, and objectives.
Social Media Scheduling
Maintain a detailed schedule for each social media channel consisting of newsworthy events and marketing campaign posts.
Give recommendations on strategy for what type of content to post and when to post on social media channels. Meet with master clients and account managers to plan social media calendars in advance.
Social Media Posting
Request and receive needed graphics for posts from the Advertising Services creative teams. Create mock posts with captions for review and approval by master clients.
Once approval is received, push the post to the appropriate social media platforms. When major on-campus tradition events occur on campus, cover these events with stories posted to Instagram, specifically for Pensacola Christian College and Teen Extreme, as well as choose photos and receive approval on those photos for photo posts about the event.
Social Media Listening and Monitoring
After posts are live, ensure perception of posts is aligning with ministry standards and mission. Monitor all social media post and livestreamed event comments.
Filter our any comments that do not align with ministry guidelines for social media comments. Actively perform social listening to see what the online community's perception is of the various ministries.
Social Media Reporting and Researching
Provide regular reporting on how each social media profile is performing. Give recommendations on how to improve the ministry's presence and perception on each platform.
