Position Overview
The Network Studios Technician functions as a technical support resource at Trilith Studios in Fayetteville, GA. Primary areas covered by the role are :
- Trouble ticket handling
- Provisioning of new services
- Technical Escalation
- Tenant / Customer Engagement
Primary Responsibilities
Provide telephone, email and in-person support to our tenants / customers throughout the campus environment.
- If unable to resolve a ticket, engage and work alongside Sohonet points of escalation
- Be able to clearly and concisely summarise and document customer issues and / or resolutions within the ticket as well as other Sohonet Systems such as Wiki etc.
- Interact effectively and efficiently within the technical support team.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet Sohonet standards
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
- Attend internal / external meetings as required.
Required Skills
but not limited to)
- Linux / Unix / Windows.
- Configure Enterprise level networking equipment such as switches, routers and firewalls.
- Proficient in working with / troubleshooting physical layer including Copper and Optical Fibre Infrastructure.
- Familiar with CLI.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues in a methodical and logical manner
- Working Knowledge of VLANS, DHCP, NAT, DNS, TCP / IP, IPv4
- Working knowledge of VoIP phone deployments and troubleshooting.
- Work trouble tickets which include service requests and incident tickets.
- Work Provisioning tickets up to the point of handover.
