MBS is hiring a Certified Welding Inspector for a great client in Fairfield, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe testing and verify conformance of welds.
- Work with Senior CWI in developing and approving required weld documentation.
- Conduct weld audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be AWS, Certified Weld Inspector (CWI).
- 2+ years of weld inspection, required.
- Must be proficient at reading weld symbols and blue-print drawings.
- Experience with D1.1 and Ground Combat Vehicle Welding code for aluminum and steel.
- Capable of using measuring equipment (i.e. fillet gages, calipers, height gages, etc).
- Proficiency in GD&T preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to lift 45 lbs.
