Job Summary :
SGA Lists is a premier hospitality staffing firm. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Cashier at a corporate cafeteria.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service to both staff and visitors.
As a cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities :
- Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Assist customers in making menu choices and provide information about products.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and nutritional information.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Replenish stock and keep track of inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for processing transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
