Vaccine Production Technician

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Vaccine Manufacturing Technician for a direct-hire (permanent) position with a pharmaceutical industry client in the Kansas City, KS area.

This position is on-site with a starting base pay of $21 / hour. Additional shift differentials are available.

Shift Options

• 09 : 00AM - 7 : 30 PM (Wed-Sun)
• 05 : 30AM - 2 : 00 PM (Wed-Sun)
• This shift will start at 9 : 00AM on Sat and Sun through end of 2024.
• 05 : 30 - 2 : 00 PM (Sat-Wed)
• This shift will start at 9 : 00AM on Sat and Sun through end of 2024.
• Training for all shifts will be Mon-Fri, 8 : 00AM-4 : 30PM and will last one week.

Responsibilities :

• Perform all laboratory processes aseptically under a Grade A Laminar Air Flow hood.
• Daily clean room gowning and adherence to SOPs.
• Document procedures accurately and concurrently.
• Conduct basic tissue and viral culture.
• Assist in media preparation for vaccine production.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Support Technicians.

Competencies :

• Aseptic technique and clean room behavior.
• Knowledge of cell and viral culture.
• Attention to detail and flexibility.

Qualifications :

• HS Diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Manufacturing experience advantageous.

Physical Requirements :

• Color vision, fine motor skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort in clean room environments.

Working Conditions :

• Clean Room Manufacturing Facility.
• Occasional extended hours during peak production.
