Position Title : Certified Hand Therapist
Location : Grand Junction, Colorado
Job Type : Full-Time
Pay Range : $48.00 - $55.20 per hour (based on education and experience)
Work Schedule : Full-Time
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and direct patient care services for patients of all ages, ensuring that individual patient needs are met.
- Perform patient evaluations and assessments to develop and implement a customized plan of care.
- Monitor and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure the achievement of patient goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and self-care.
- Produce high-quality documentation in a timely manner, adhering to professional association and regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership.
- Understand and manage treatment costs, budgeting, staffing, billing / coding, and procedural planning tasks for quality and efficiency.
Requirements :
- Education : Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program.
- Licensure :
- Current unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Colorado, OR
- Current unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Colorado.
- Certification : Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) certification and recertification every 5 years.
- Other : Current BCLS certification.
