Job Title : Business Analyst

Location : Mountain View, CA

Pay Range : $60-$65 / h on DOE

Duration : 6 Months

Key Responsibilities :

Sourcing Analysis : Evaluate and optimize sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost-saving goals.

Support 3P Forecasting model project to forecast Supplier and Category strategy.

• Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for enhancing sourcing and procurement processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that drive efficiency and ROI.
• Developing and implementing optimized processes and procedures to support GBS (Sourcing and Finance)
• Data Analysis : Utilize data to assess supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing outcomes. Pull and analyze reports to support decision-making and track process improvements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs, address challenges, and provide insights for strategic sourcing decisions.
• Reporting : Develop and maintain regular reports on sourcing activities, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications :

• Experience in business process improvement and analysis with experience in sourcing / procurement / payables
• Ability to drive change, influence others, work independently as well as lead, and participate in cross functional teams
• Able to effectively deliver clear, concise, and actionable messages both written and verbally, at all levels
• Able to facilitate and work cross-functionally and across boundaries to accomplish UAT goals
• Able to effectively drive action through communication of upcoming milestones, tasks, and goals
• Drives the right level of accountability and shares responsibility for outcomes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills. Using metrics to track and improve performance
• Anticipates risks and opportunities informed by data to achieve best outcomes
• Works well autonomously in an ambiguous environment; proactively asks questions to build clarity
• Quickly acquires new ways of seeing things, and pivots as circumstances change

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with procurement processes (without being the primary focus).
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
