Machine Operator
Job Description
Possess a working knowledge and experience with labeler operations; watching for jams and effectively threading wrap to prevent downtime due to error.
Perform filler and filler line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner. Make adjustments to filler timing and filling, and check mat as needed.
Prepare equipment for the next run, including size changes as needed. Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of the product. Prepare case labels. Review product labels for accuracy to ensure boxes and bottles are coded correctly.

Work Environment
Expected to work in a manufacturing and production environment, which may include being exposed to work in high / precarious places, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, odors, and fumes.
Loud. Candidates working in Blending will be going outside all year round, climbing on railcars and attaching large hoses to railcars (very physical position).
Candidates in Packaging will be indoors; it will be very hot in the summer and normal temperature in the winter. Will be inspecting packaging machines, making minor adjustments to machines, and performing lockout / tagout procedures
