  • Conduct thorough analysis : Don your engineer's detective hat and assess damage patterns, analyze materials, reconstruct failure sequences, and uncover the root cause with laser-sharp precision.
  • Evaluate causation : Determine whether damages are the cause of design flaws, faulty construction, weather events, wear and tear, or improper maintenance your judgment will be the guiding light.
  • Testify confidently : As necessary, take the stand with unwavering conviction, presenting your findings with clarity and poise, leaving no room for doubt.
  • Stay informed : Curiosity is your fuel continuously update your knowledge of building codes, engineering standards, and emerging investigative techniques.
  • Train and mentor : Share your wisdom! Play a key role in shaping the next generation of forensic engineers, guiding and encouraging new staff.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in forensic engineering or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • PE license required.
