Responsibilities Our software development team develops line-of-business enterprise software solutions using agile methodologies.
We focus heavily on integration and web-based development. We are seeking a candidate who can assist and guide our efforts to create business-critical applications through their knowledge of system and software capabilities and business needs.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned) : Work with product users and business leaders to define feature needs and requirements.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear articulation of product functionalities, prioritizing features based on value, and adjusting as necessary in response to stakeholder feedback and market shifts.
Work with stakeholders to help set prioritized project objectives. Work with UX Engineering to refine workflows, screens, and user interactions for the product.
Collaborate with product users, analysts, and developers to develop new innovative solutions to existing business problems.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and support teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule. Demonstrate outstanding communication abilities to ensure timely and effective dialogue with product users and stakeholders regarding timelines, deliverables, and the status of requests.
Manual testing of applications to verify intent and requirements are met. Engage with support and engineering teams to address and understand support-related issues.
Develop written documentation requirements for backlog items in preparation for development activities. Develop and maintain user documentation as needed.
Collaborate with the Engineering teams during development to answer questions or revise plans and functionality if necessary.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, executing plans autonomously with minimal guidance. Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience College degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years in industry working as a Product Manager. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated talent for motivating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
Knowledge & Experience Experience with Agile, Scrum, or related project management methodologies Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools Personal Attributes Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
Able to solve complex problems. Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products. Highly self-motivated and directed. Attention to detail.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
