Organization : SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley
Position Overview : Leads and sets the direction for the strategic planning, design and development of programs and resources to strengthen and maximize organizational learning and development.
Partners with Human Resources and key senior and business leaders to identify workforce development priorities, and facilitates a collaborative planning process linking business and talent needs to forecast workforce development.
Oversees the development of system-wide learning solutions / technologies to meet business needs and to support continuous learning and program execution.
Evaluates the effectiveness of programs, implementing changes to support strategic business initiatives. Where this job exists at a large affiliate, as defined as : Bay Foundation, Valley Foundation, CPMC, ABSMC, SMCS and OU roles, and reports to an Executive-Path leader, the title will be Executive.
Job Description : The person selected for this role will be on site most of the time (approximately 4 days a week) for meetings and to attend training classes.
This is not a remote role and candidate must live in the Northern California Sutter Health Footprint. Travel across the system is frequent.

Bachelor's : Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Education, Business Administration or related field.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE :
15 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
Knowledge of training and development program assessment, design, delivery, and evaluation.
Knowledge of organization development methodologies.
Awareness of labor market trends and issues, and how it impacts the strategic approach to learning & development and / or talent management.
Ability to use data to make critical decisions and direct key initiatives.
Ability to understand the business and culture, and to effectively lead / facilitate change initiatives.
Strategic thinker with the ability to recognize, analyze and synthesize issues, and formulate breakthrough strategies and business plans for improvement and growth.
Analytical skills with proven ability to resolve issues / problems by leveraging business and HR / functional knowledge and client relationships.
Ability to manage large scale projects from inception to successful implementation.
Ability to operate strategically and tactically.
Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority.
Ability to bring individuals together to resolve differences and / or to achieve acceptance of a solution.

Pay Range : $91.30 to $146.08 / hour. Emeryville Pay Range is $103.75 to $166.00 / hour.
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
