Digital Designer

Tonic3 is on the lookout for a Digital Designer to join the in-house creative agency team of one of our Fortune 500 clients in the financial / banking services industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right designer to take on the challenge of designing, innovating, and improving digital user experiences for mobile and web, reaching thousands of people across the US!

Location : Hybrid (3 days in office) from one of the following locations :

New York City, NY

Charlotte, NC

Dallas / Fort Worth, TX

Jacksonville, FL

St. Louis, MO

Atlanta, GA

Wilmington, DE

Elk Grove Village, IL

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000 per year.

Salary varies by location and experience.

  • Brand Strategist Maintaining a keen eye and strategizing the most effective methods of implementing brand guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel that promotes our client's core principles.

Position Overview : The primary responsibility of our client's creative team is to provide their client partners with innovative and visually appealing creatives that adhere to brand guidelines, our client's central messaging, and ADA compliance.

What You'll Do :

  • Designing a variety of deliverable types and marketing assets (e.g. videos, e-mails, web banners) in keeping with our client's mission and values and customer experience at the forefront.
  • Developing eye-catching digital display ads that launch on third-party sites, designing concepts, and using specialized software to create HTML5 assets.
  • Using video editing software to produce eye-catching visuals and animated graphics on quick turnaround times while ensuring ADA compliance.
  • Rapidly conceptualizing user experiences through Adobe Experience Manager and a library of components.
  • Owning creatives throughout the lifecycle of the job (from concept through release).
  • Implementing comprehensive guidelines into deliverables to ensure 100% ADA compliance.
  • Brainstorming in a team setting to continually improve creative application and overall procedure.
  • Collaborating with client partners to achieve strategic, innovative, and digitally driven communications.
  • Reflecting core principles of curiosity and boldness in your approach to projects and demonstrating a determination to achieve a successful conclusion.
  • Presenting your work during internal reviews and client presentations, providing sound research, and citing best practices to explain your architecture, design, and interaction decisions.

Who You Are :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Multimedia or Digital Designer.
  • Experience or exposure to UX Design methodology preferred.
  • A BA or higher in design or a related field.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud : especially Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with Figma is required.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Web Designer is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and other coding essentials is preferred.
  • A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking about creative application).
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance as it pertains to digital deliverables.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects.
  • Successful experience partnering with internal clients and external developers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple concurrent job statuses (experience with workflow tools is a plus), meet project deadlines, and adhere to a process calendar.
  • Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with local and remote team members.
  • Mac literacy
  • Must have a rich, online portfolio website of digital work.
  • Must have agency experience.
