Sales Manager / Finance Manager at Harrisonburg Ford

Potential Earnings $100,000.00 and above!

Must have at least 1 Year New Car Dealership Experience.

Job Summary :

The Sales Manager / Finance Manager at Harrisonburg Ford will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and profitability of our dealership.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates, setting and achieving sales targets, and ensuring excellent customer service is provided to all clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales and finance, a proven track record of success, and exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales associates to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Create and implement sales strategies to increase dealership profitability
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data and take corrective action when necessary
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Train sales staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and dealership policies
  • Oversee the vehicle inventory and ensure appropriate sales pricing
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to sales team members
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • You will provide recommendations and arrange best option financing for our customers.
  • Present customers with all the additional products available to assist their ownership experience.
  • Give complete explanations of all manufactures and dealership policy and procedures.
  • Control neat and complete paperwork not allowing for CIT.
  • Make sure 100% of local, state and federal laws are followed.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in automotive sales, with at least 1 year in Sales and / or Finance Management at a New Car Dealership.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive a team towards success
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive industry and sales practices
  • Proficiency in Dealership software systems
  • Valid driver’s license
