About The Position
Job Title : Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty : Neonatology Job Duration : Full-time, Permanent Shift : 24-hour shifts, 7-8 shifts per month Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of current employment experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) License : Georgia license (or willingness to obtain) Certifications : Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Must-Have : Master's Degree and / or Doctorate in Nursing, Current APRN National Specialty Certification as a Board Certified NNP Job Description : Seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join an expanding Neonatology practice.
- The position involves providing Level III neonatology services in a suburban community dedicated to serving the needs of newborns and their families.
- Responsibilities include 24 / 7 coverage in NICUs, providing care in the Newborn Nursery.- Work collaboratively with a team of NNPs, Pediatricians, and board-certified Neonatologists.
- Provide services including HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE at one location, and EEG.- Utilize Pediatric Hospitalist Service to offer NBN coverage for the majority of newborns.
- Opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Women’s Center, opened in 2017, with an average census that has doubled since 2020.
- Dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT / OT for development, and access to pediatric sub-specialists.- Must reside within the immediate local area;
