DDC Construction Inspector

Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site role for a DDC Construction Inspector with Water & Sewer Experience for a project in

Queens, NY. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting construction projects

related to water and sewer systems. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring compliance with project plans and

specifications, monitoring construction activities, preparing detailed reports, and coordinating with project

managers and contractors to address any issues that arise.

Qualifications :

Water and Sewer system inspection and construction experience

ACI Grade 1 concrete field-testing technician certification, OSHA 10 certification and NYCDDC Water Main

Training is required. No application will be considered without these certifications.

Knowledge of Civil Engineering Design and Construction Management

Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications

Strong communication and report-writing skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with DDC (Department of Design and Construction) guidelines

Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., NICET) are a plus

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
