Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 2 years experience required; must have one prior travel assignment
License : Must have a valid state license in hand or in certain cases, pending
Certifications :
- Required : BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
- Preferred : TNCC, ENPC
Must-Have :
- Procedural Sedation Administration skills
- Comfort working with a 1 : 4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Job Description :
- Work in a Short Term Acute Care facility with 39 total staffed beds / rooms
- Handle an average of 90 visits per day
- Wear navy blue scrubs
- Utilize Cerner for charting
- Demonstrate skills in procedural sedation administration
- Manage ventilated patients, triage, and undertake charge nurse responsibilities as preferred skills
- Be prepared for every other weekend and every other holiday shifts
- Participate in a 28-hour orientation that is partially non-billable
- Complete training modules, with an average of 12 billable hours
- Comply with facility requirements for flu vaccination; no exemptions allowed
- Provide two supervisor references
- Be open to the possibility of being hired without a formal interview.
