Responsibilities :
Provide network and broadcast infrastructure to broadcasters, telecommunication service providers, government agencies and other industries.
Enable the transport and management of professional-quality video, audio and data in real time, reliably and securely from the camera to the home.
Develop and drive new business within the appropriate markets to meet customer’s requests.
Work closely with Sales team to achieve budget in solutions categories and for the growth and development of solutions.
Providing reps and dealers information for solutions within their area, assisting in the growth and development of Sony solutions
Know and understand the technical details, features, capabilities, and configuration of Sony’s solution products and also how they compare to our competition.
Interface with Sony product / software design teams to drive understanding of market needs.Identify and prioritize features for development roadmaps.
Requirements :
Education / Experience Including any managerial requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or networking equivalent experience
5-7 years related experience in roles such as technical consultation, project management or other systems-oriented interactions, in the professional audio / video and IP technical fields.
Previous experience in broadcast and professional system design and integration is preferred.
Experience in architecture and overall design for broadcast and AV / IT based hardware and software systems
Understanding of cloud-based computing systems and deployment of cloud systems
Experience in technical solution selling.
Background in managing outsourcing of system integration vendors and project management.
Familiarity with the Latin America business environment
Specific Knowledge Including any technical or language requirements
IP-based technologies and solutions - present to broadcasters, telecom operators and business partners globally.
Customer oriented - engage in discussions with customers throughout the entire sales cycle.
Next generation IP-based and cloud-based broadcast solutions - Analyze customer requirements for
Design high-level solutions that meet customer requirements.
Solution design and Bill-of-Materials - develop detailed designs
Strong analytical and proven technical problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate with Senior Management to convey decision making and inform about requests for new features and applications.
Capable of keeping track of new market trends and competitive solutions and become a trusted adviser to customers and business partners.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
Solid presentation skills.
Must have strong organizational skills and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to effectively work both independently and in a team environment.
Extensive travel is required.
Fluent in both English and Spanish (Portuguese is a Plus)
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $106,000.00 to $132,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, paid sick leave.
