Overview : This position is responsible to drive brand growth by developing innovative strategies and go-to-market plans for both new launches and cores businesses with executional excellence.

In addition, the Director of Marketing is responsible for owning and uncovering deep consumer insights to initiate breakthrough communications and data-driven marketing.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to performing business & competitive analyses, media planning and spend review, marketing budget / financial control, and preparing presentations for top management meetings.

This position is an opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated individual to be both creative and analytical to help accelerate growth for this innovative and loved brand.

Job Responsibilities : New Product Launches :

Ownership and responsibility for supervising entire go to market process across multiple launches- shopper, social, media, education, etc.

Participate in selling project to management at-largeGenerate long term strategic developmentCollaborate with Creative to create launch materials including merchandising and samplingStrategy & Planning : Drive the research, analysis, category trends and insights to develop long term strategyOversee and guide plans development and create vision for businessesContribute significantly to total category strategy / plansResponsible for owning strategy for Sales and Trade planningFinancial P&L and Forecasting :

Ownership of entire process and P&LUnderstand and manage financial implication of forecast (i.e.) E10 and Full year numberOwn accuracy of all budgets and roll up of total category with financeManage budget allocation between spending buckets and brands with peersPromotions / Advertising / Media : Work intimately with agency partners to create breakthrough consumer communications in all touchpoints, from traditional media to digital data driven activationsInfluence media recommendation and directionJob Requirements : Education / Experience : Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 8+ years of consumer goods or beauty marketing experience (skincare expertise highly preferred)Experience in Brand or Product Marketing requiredExperience working collaboratively with Global Marketing and R&D on a new product development or renovationExperience successfully launching and managing a new product or renovation through its entire life cycleCompetencies / Skills : Demonstrated L’Oréal Competencies : Leadership, Entrepreneurial Management, Achiever, and InnovatorBrand Administration : create project plan according to panier portfolio gaps;
  • in-depth knowledge of brand equity and managementMarket Research : ability to read and interpret research dataLeadership : Demonstration of leadership with team;

support departments and customersStrong Project Management SkillsInformation & Data managementRigorous quantitative data analysis skillsPrioritization & Organization SkillsStrong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral)Strong appreciation for our business / sensitivity to métierWhat’s In It For You : Salary Range : $140,100 $203,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
