Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Operations

Sprout Social is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Strategy and Business Operations to our Product team.As a foundational member of the Strategy and Business Operations team, reporting to our VP of Strategy & Business Operations, you'll partner closely with executive leadership across Product, GTM, and Finance. You'll help define Sprout's long-term strategy, drive execution on cross-functional initiatives, and uncover opportunities that accelerate growth. We're looking for someone who's endlessly curious, customer-centered, and thrives in navigating ambiguity - someone who can toggle between the 10,000-foot view and the details, and who gets energy from solving hard, high-impact problems.This is an ideal role for someone with a background in strategy, product, analytics, or business operations who's looking to drive impact across the full business.

What you'll do

• Guide prioritization and tradeoff discussions across Product, GTM, and Finance to ensure focus on the highest-impact opportunities
• Lead and support Sprout's most strategic, high-priority initiatives - from ambiguous problem space to structured, actionable plan
• Partner with cross-functional leaders across Product, GTM, Finance, and Exec to identify opportunities, solve business-critical challenges, and drive alignment
• Develop business cases, operating models, and long-range strategic frameworks that guide company decision-making and inform resource allocation and investment decisions
• Conduct deep analyses of market trends, customer segments, competitive positioning, and product performance to guide positioning and growth roadmap
• Define, track, and operationalize KPIs that align cross-functional stakeholders and ensure accountability
• Translate insights into clear recommendations and narratives for senior leadership and Board discussions
• Help establish the Strategy & Business Operations function, including team norms, rituals, and future hiring practices
• Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving - conducting your own analyses and diving into details while we build out the broader team

Individual base pay is based on various factors, including work location, relevant experience and skills, the responsibility of the role, and job duties / requirements. In the United States, we have two geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires are :

The listed ranges represent the full earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for well-qualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent, and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation bi-annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.

Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Sprout. Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprout's equity plan. Employees (and their dependents) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance, and Modern Health (a wellness benefit). Employees are able to enroll in Sprout's company's 401k plan, in which Sprout will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Sprout offers "Flexible Paid Time Off" and ten paid holidays.
