Description :
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborating with educators and families to address students’ needs
- Develop and implement programs to promote a positive school environment
- Conduct assessments and provide intervention strategies
Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- State certification / licensure as a Social Worker
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Skills :
- Clear and effective communication
- Conduct assessments to understand students’ needs, identify challenges, and develop plan
- Ability to assess complex situations, analyze problems and develop strategies and solutions to address them
- Understand and relate to students’ experience an emotions
Detail :
- Must be ONSITE
- 1 / 17 / 24 - 3 / 18 / 24 (may extend a few weeks)
- Open to less than 40 hours if necessary
- Population : 9th grade to 22+, therapeutic day school providing educational life skills program supporting students with moderate to significant needs across multiple domains (ie.
cognitive, social-emotional, communication, physical).
School hours : MWRF 8-2 : 45, T 8 : 00-4 : 00
