OrthoAtlanta is seeking experienced healthcare managers to oversee several offices within the Metro Atlanta Area. The Area Operations Manager will work closing with the individual office manages and the Regional Directors for the efficient, effective, and safe operation of all clinical and administrative functions of the assigned practice locations.
Job responsibilities include :
- Operational Excellence : Oversee all operational functions in clinics, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Collaborate with Practice Managers to address patient, staff, and physician concerns.
- Financial Stewardship : Review and analyze financial reports, audit financial activities, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Team Leadership : Collaborate with Practice Managers and participate in regular meetings to foster communication and process improvement.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support employee development.
- Human Resources Management : Assist with recruitment, hiring, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
- Training and Development : Coordinate training and re-certifications to ensure staff competency and compliance.
- Ancillary Services : Support and coordinate ancillary services to enhance patient care.
- Market Analysis : Analyze market trends and opportunities to optimize clinic operations and patient referrals.
- Compliance Adherence : Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Data Analysis : Utilize KPI data to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making.
- Financial Reporting : Review and analyze financial statements to assess profitability and identify cost-saving measures.
- Patient Satisfaction : Monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies to address any concerns or deficiencies.
- Leadership : Provide leadership and support to Practice Managers and staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years administrative experience in Healthcare
- 2 years of medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of practice management software systems
- Knowledge of electronic medical records software systems
- Ability to work independently
- Process improvement experience
- Ability to exercise independent decision making
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Orthopedic experience a plus
- Ability to work in stressful environment

- Demonstrated track record of management of personnel and fiscal resources with never compromising patient satisfaction
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Travel within the metro Atlanta Area 80%
