POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting jointly to the division president and the senior director of marketing, the marketing - proposals coordinator will improve, support, and be a key player in implementing all marketing and sales support processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, creating formal qualifications, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials within Pepper guidelines in a deadline-driven environment.
The ability to work effectively with Pepper employees at all levels, a strong and clear communication style, and a commitment to the service of internal clients are essential to this position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Facilitate the response process for formal RFQs, RFPs, and associated presentations. Develop materials with the assistance of the director and project team and compile all information to create a thoughtful, well-designed response.
- Attend and play a key role in determining the strategic theme for proposal responses and interview presentations.
- Routinely interact and partner with top executives, project management staff, and the business development director on various requests.
- Evaluate technical content and write / edit proposal sections according to company specifications.
- Coordinate visual marketing strategies in compliance with Pepper brand guidelines.
- Create support materials, including brochures, project cards, and resumes, as needed and maintain an up-to-date library.
- Work effectively within the company's marketing data management tools.
- Assist employees with marketing questions, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
- Partner with marketing peers in other offices to share information and assist one another in meeting deadlines.
- Actively seek outside educational opportunities to expand knowledge and build networks.
- Support external PR, communications, and content strategies, including social media, project documentation, website updates, and speaking and award submissions.
- Support internal communications, including team meetings and announcements, as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years marketing / proposal / production experience (Architecture / Engineering / Construction Industry preferred)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign), Microsoft Office, and other presentation software.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines under minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technologically savvy and resourceful.
- Flexible, results-oriented, and solution-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and pay close attention to details.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Understanding of the fundamental principles of graphic design.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- This position will work onsite in the Milwaukee office.
