- Pharmacy Operational Hours : M-F, 9-5
How You’ll Make an Impact :
As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community’s well-being, and lead the pharmacy team.
With autonomy, you’ll drive efficient, effective, and continually improving pharmacy operations, while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
- Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.
- Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare.

What You’ll Bring :
Basic Qualifications :
- or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination.
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the state of LA.
- Maintain continuing education requirements as part of pharmacist license maintenance.
- Three to five years’ experience in the practice of pharmacy.
- Two to three years’ experience in pharmacy management leading pharmacy teams preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
- One year of experience working with patient management program (strongly preferred)
- Also have MS State Pharmacist License (Preferred)
- Specialty Pharmacy experience (within a health system a plus).
- Working knowledge of 340B.
- Working knowledge of Oncology and inflammatory diseases
- Working knowledge of Interfacing with hospital / health system / provider exec teams.
- Experience with Prior Authorization
Work Environment and Physical Demands :
- Must be able to daily commute to pharmacy site during operational hours listed .
- Enjoy a friendly, relaxed environment; this is a not a big-box retail atmosphere.
- This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
