Job Summary :
We are looking for a Pipe Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of pipeline systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining pipelines, valves, pumps, and related equipment to prevent leaks and ensure proper functioning.
Responsibilities :
1. Inspect pipeline systems regularly to identify and address potential issues.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep pipelines, valves, and pumps in good working condition.
3. Conduct repairs on damaged or malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.
4. Monitor and control pipeline operations to ensure efficient water transport.
5. Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and environmental hazards.
6. Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and system operations.
7. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications :
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience in pipeline maintenance or a related field is preferred.
3. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in pipeline maintenance.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and repair pipeline equipment.
5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
8. Certification in pipeline maintenance or a related field is advantageous.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor environments.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks that involve bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
Location :
This position is in-person and based in Conyers, GA.
