Job Title : Senior EHS Consultant
Location : Phoenix, Arizona

About the role :
This position will be instrumental in growing BSI's market presence and supporting our clients in the greater Phoenix, AZ area .
The primary focus will be acquiring new clients and generating revenue through business development, networking, and sales activities.
You will also work with existing clients on their environmental, health, and safety programs to expand and grow the relationship.
In this important position you will perform technical consulting, do business development, lead consulting projects, mentor others and may manage staff over time.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who has prior consulting experience with a focus on Safety and Industrial Hygiene.
Responsibilities :
- Management of Staff, Projects, and Clients
- Grow BSI's market presence through the acquisition of new clients, programs, and projects
- Design and execute effective business development strategies to drive sales and revenue throughout the region
- Active involvement / leadership in technical or business associations (local / national) and the community, to support business objectives
- Development of EHS programs at a site level Understanding of EHS regulatory requirements and conducting regulatory requirement audits
- Accident investigation and response Hazard recognition, evaluation and analysis, and development and implementation of controls
- Creating / maintaining / implementing hazard communication / chemical safety programs
- Creating and delivering health and safety training
- Performing EHS inspections & assessments such IH, PPE, and machine guarding
- Conducting construction site EHS audits to identify and mitigate hazards
- Chemical and physical hazard monitoring
- Partnering with clients to develop or audit safety management systems
- Helping to ensure our culture of quality and service are reflected in everything we do, and leading others to do the same
To be successful in the role, you will have :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or other related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including business, report and program writing
- Solid track record of consultative selling services and solutions in a professional services environment
- Ability to research gather and organize data from multiple sources
- Ability to plan and implement projects
- Ability to support clients around their designated office and periodically travel to support clients, staff, other BSI offices in the Southwest region and the US

Salary
The salary for this position can range from $99,000 to $140,000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
