Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Center Director. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, or related field, and management experience in a licensed childcare center is preferred.
We are looking for an individual with creativity that can bring positive management skills and lead a team of teachers.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with our staff, families and community
- Maintain accurate record-keeping, both state and GSI requirements
- Support staff in daily tasks and classroom management
- Manage and maintain child care services in accordance to DCF
- Team and Parent engagement
Qualifications
- BA, BS Degree, or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or education; Director qualified
- Prior Managerial / Leadership experience in a child care setting
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Outstanding customer service skills, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills and handle a variety of situations effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
