Electrical Estimator

Estimators play a crucial role in securing profitable electrical projects, providing accurate technical estimations from bid preparation to job closeout documentation, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications :
Knowledge of electrical construction and theory acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree, or equivalent experience.
Key Skills & Competencies :
- Excellent human relations skills with a focus on confidentiality.
- Proficiency in conceptual estimates and financial analysis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct quantity takeoff and entry into estimating software.
- Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Monitor current material pricing levels.
- Review and estimate addenda as required.
- Attend site walk meetings and review bid / construction schedules.
- Draft and submit proposal documents.
- Follow post-bid closeout procedures.
- Attend weekly estimating team meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
