Internal Auditor
Job Description
This entry-level position will assist our Compliance and Internal Audit team, along with some finance-related projects assigned by the CFO and / or Corporate Controller.
It will support all aspects of vendor documentation review, email communication, data entry, Oracle process, etc.
This will also include assisting with the development of processes and systems to complete projects and maintain project initiatives on an ongoing basis.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Compliance and Internal Audit team processes.
- Manage communication across several entities, using emails, phone, and Microsoft teams.
- Analyze incoming documentation to ensure it is in line with company requirements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of project working files and final records as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Identify improvements to general compliance processes and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, codes, accounting standards, and policies of the company relevant to
the role.
Assist CFO, Corporate Controller, Assistant Corporate Controller, and Regional Controllers.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS (INTERNAL / EXTERNAL)
Cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with internal and external parties such as :
- Accounting and Finance team (daily)
- Employees from other company locations
- Internal and external auditors and consultants
Hard Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 1+ year working in an office space utilizing Microsoft Office
- 1+ year of customer service
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective writing / email communication
- Manage communication across several entities using emails, phone, and Microsoft Teams
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Work Environment
Office, Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm
