Description

The Research Coordinator will be responsible for implementing day-to-day operations for health policy data analysis projects.

The Research Coordinator will support the research team by completing tasks in a timely basis in order to fulfill project deadlines;

this will include supporting the development of deliverables (proposals, policy briefs, literature reviews, etc.) to be shared internally and / or externally, and preparing data for analysis.

Research Coordinator will be working with a variety of data sources including private insurer data, Medicare data, and / or VA data.

This person will also work with the Project Manager to manage the data teams and produce the final data reports, tables, and presentation materials to be shared externally.

Research Coordinator will coordinate with the Project Manager to manage IRB protocols, project timelines, organize team meetings, including internal meetings and external meetings with stakeholders, and financial grant reports.

We expect this position to grow to support multiple research projects in the near future as they are funded.

  • In Addition, the Sr. Research Coordinator Partner with Faculty members to facilitate the implementation of their research projects : Plan and execute research study procedures;
  • develop and maintain project related documents including source documents and manual of standard operating procedures. Develop and support a study database for projects;

maintain log and tracking mechanisms. Provides preliminary data analysis and report preparation. Ensure that projects are executed successfully and completed within time frames to meet research objectives.

Qualifications

Research Coordinator : Bachelor’s Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Sr. Research Coordinator : Bachelor’s Degree (Master's preferred) and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Both levels : The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. She / He / They should have an understanding of the healthcare system and a desire to expand this knowledge base.

Experience working with data systems and understanding good data management practices preferred. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint is required. Basic skills in advanced data management software such as Stata, SAS, or R is preferred.

Accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail will be vital in this position. Position contingent upon funding.

The salary range available for these positions is $46,108 - $57, 696.
