The BAE Systems Lab42 Team has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Tableau Specialist. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep.

This position will assist our Tableau system manager in designing, configuring, and optimizing Tableau dashboards spanning multiple programs, data sources, environments, and countries.

Prior DoD industry exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities will also include :

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations using Tableau best practices and features.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored Tableau solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to end users on best practices in data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with dashboards, database connections, and design and data development issues.
• Monitor performance of dashboards and take corrective action to optimize and improve dashboard performance as necessary.
• Assist in the administrative tasks of the Tableau platform, such as user management and configuration.
• Advocate for change as part of Lab42

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

BS degree with an emphasis in Information Systems / Data Science or equivalent education / experience.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience developing production-level Tableau dashboards.
• Experience in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of dashboards and reports.
• Understand reporting database schema / models, identify joins / tables, and perform data analysis.
• Ability to build complex dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Desktop 2022 or higher.
• Experience in the creation and use of visualizations and conducting data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop creative solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to be self-sufficient in developing work plans to produce dashboards under tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently on assigned activities without a lot of direction
• Comfortable working across business and IT domains

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $68700 - $116800

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
